MEET OUR PROVIDERS

Claire Regan graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario in 2012, and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Maryland in May of 2020, specializing in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care.  She earned the Excellence in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nursing Award as well as the Geriatrics and Gerontology Education and Research Award for her work during her studies. Following graduation, she completed a one-year residency at the VA in Baltimore with a focus in geriatrics.

She currently works as an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland in the Adult Gerontology Primary Care Doctor of Nursing Practice program, and practices as a clinician caring for older adults at Personal Physician Care. Outside of these roles, Claire holds several positions within nursing organizations. She is a member of the Future’s Committee and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee within the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine, serves as a member of the editorial board for the Geriatric Nursing Journal, and is the current treasurer for the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association.
